CAS Section Report March 2009

Shoots coming up:

SI Champs being held in Ashburton 16/04/09 to 19/04/09

The range is looking good, but we need to do more working bees to get it to the standard that we all would like.  So when Saddlebum and Hammerhand shout out for help, lets all dig in and get it done.

For all those people that are buying the 1911’s be aware that we need IPSC holster badges to be able to draw from the holster. We are still working through the exact requirements for this process, and will advise as soon as we can.

Registered visits to the club, all CAS section people be aware when you come into the club to shoot you must put your name into the register before traveling down to the back of the range.  It is a requirement of law and if we get audited by Jason and you have not signed your name in our register before you shoot you will be bounced and the club will be hammered.

Now is also a good time to remind all our members that you must get permits to carry when going away for shoots out of Christchurch, the arms office works in with us very well by allowing us to email and telephone in.  So do not abuse the trust that we are given over this issue.

Thanks to Rimfire for assisting in organizing the Wild Bunch shoot down south in Waitati, I am sure this will be a fun and exciting event.
