mini report / ideas for up in comming shoots

Howdy folk
well  kinda forgot at the AGM  about things happeing out here and a few other things on the  trail  happening

OK   got some new steel out here in the shape of animals for long range  shooting    and have had the odd day  looking at diffrent ways  of  haveing shoots out here    ..

like other  ranges weather  is playing a big part in the number of shoots with it being wet as  out here  the amount of shooting is kinda low key  at the mo   roll on spring   hopefully we will have finshed shearing before then  already 2-3 weeks behind 

hope fully looking at haveing some longer range days   so a good chance to knock the dust off the bigger guns ya'll have    maybe a day  in a John Wayne  style    lever action rifle cal  1 pistol and shot gun     just some thing diffrent    buffalo hunter day  etc etc      date  i'm not sure yet  maybe late sept /oct     ..

if any ones got a fave  western   mainly  with a bit of distance    in the shooting style   single shots  lever action rifle cal etc etc    i open for ideas    the range out here is diffrent to most   and for  it's best use  it's more suited to  useing   a bit more distance  than  the more common town type  ranges   where  most shooting is  closer    ..

any hows  have a think on  what ya's  want to see over the coming months  in the cowboy world    there are a few shoot's coming up  but there is still room for some small  one days at club level  or inter club    they don't need to have a brass band ,dance girls ,badges ,certs, etc etc    4-6  good stages for all levels  a  simple feed(BBQ ,filled rolls,etc etc  or just say  bring ya lunch )  and a few bucks to cover costs  ..

also good to see some new shooters in CPC  and also a few new cowboys in the ASH area     so fellas if ya see a new face  make them feel   wanted in the sport  and help them out if ya can     i'm always  willing to answer questions or find out info   if it's needed    don't be shy to ask  ..

Well it's all to do with lone star belt buckles and old faded  levis 
guess a few on here  who i am 
i own  the place   that has  a sat  range  for CPC  i am also the  RG  for the eastern plains   ..
so ya keen to come out ??  find ya self a  hat and some old faded levis  i'm sure there may be a few others keen to have a crack at cowboy shoot    even the prez looked good in a big  hat     i'm more than willing to  set up a day  if ya's keen  i'm sure there would be a few others    to make a day ..
come on  i bet ya there are a few of the IPSC crew that    get the beers and chips out when there is a western on telly   and a quick  show of hands who played cowboys and indians as a kid  ..
