New Glocks
« on: 19 April, 2009, 07:29:51 am »
The committee has ordered two new Glock 17 pistols to try and lower the pressure on Club Guns on Sunday mornings.   They will come with standard connectors, making the trigger pull about 5.5 pounds, which is legal in production class.

The trigger weight on the other 3 Glocks is 3.5 pounds.

The question is -- should we make all five Glocks the same trigger weight, or do we leave two setup the way that they would be used in IPSC production class (also the way the Police use them).

Thoughts ?

PS: They will be here this week.

I agree that they all should be the same, be it standard or production. Just need to see what the preference is with the people shooting the club guns.

Takes more skill for a very new member to shoot with the heavier trigger.   Remember back then....

Make 'em all the same at 3.5. It's only a 5 minuite job to drop in the standard connectors if someone *really* needs to shoot production at a match or something.

I agree with the majority, that they should all be the same

They would be if I could get "-"connectors at the moment.   However having said that I'm not sure many have noticed.....
