Interclub shoot Ashburton 13 December
« on: 24 November, 2009, 07:31:33 pm »
Interclub shoot Ashburton Sunday 13 December. There will be four to six stages of IPSC, plus some steel challenge stages for those that want to get faster...
Bring at least 200 rounds.
Start time 9am. Cost is $20, bring your own lunch. Enter on the day, but it would help if you let me know beforehand if you are planning on entering.
IPSC scores will be input to WinMSS afterwards, with results emailed. This is because I will be shooting and not inputting.
This is the first Canterbury interclub for some time. If there is enough support from the clubs, we're hoping to eventually have a shoot most months, if not every month.

If you are going to need club guns or ammo please let Gavin know in time.

Pity that it clashes with CPC Xmas shoot   :n:

I guess the question also needs to be asked - why $20 entry for a club shoot? What happened to the $5/head system that has been the norm in the past?

Hi 38 Super. Well the date clash is unfortunate, a communication problem.
Don't be such a tightarse. If you can't afford $20 entry for a one day shoot... Range fee alone is $10 for visitors. Targets will be provided (steel and paper) and any surplus goes back into improved facilities for shooters.

I think you're missing the point. Example: 20 cpc shooters shoot the match - 4-6 stages - total fees $400. 20? Ashburton shooters shoot cpc minimatch - 4-6 stages - total fees $0.

Tight has nothing to do with it. A nominal fee covered costs of targets and still would. If you want to run a fundraiser then be upfront about it.
