January Report
Happy New Year. I trust Santa has treated you all well and you’re raring to get back into shooting again.
Congratulations to Mike Hoorens for winning the Christmas Fun Shoot. Well done demonstrating your skill at all of the disciplines our club offers. I especially enjoyed the Cowboy Action shoot myself. A big thanks to everyone who organised their Sections for all of us to try and the barbeque was outstanding too.
On the event front, the IPSC Section ran a 3 Gun event at Motunau on Sunday 10th Jan that was well supported. A fun day was had by all.
Looking ahead there is an IPSC 4 stage Mini Match on Sunday 24th January, closely followed by a 3 Gun Match at Motunau 7th Feb.
For ISSF shooters there is the Mainland Summer Competition on 13th & 14th February. This is a very social event and great way to try your hand at competition if you haven’t before.
