3 Gun Section Report for February 2010

Overview

February has seen the continuation of the 3 Gun Match schedule at the Motunau Ranges.

Special thanks must go to Jayson and Kerry for again allowing us to hold the clubs 3 Gun Matches on their property.

February 2010 – 2 Gun Match

On Sunday 7th February the 3 Gun Section held its second match for the year at the Motunau Ranges. The match consisted of three stages of Shotgun and Rifle.
It was great to see such a large number of club members showing up for this second match. The final count on the day was 14 competitors split over Open and Standard Grades.

Thanks to Sean, Dave, Tom, Mike and Jayson for their assistance setting up the stages on the Saturday before the match. It is always difficult to get these matches setup and it is only because of the willingness of people to give up their time on the Saturday before that we can have a match ready for the Sunday.

I would like to pass on my congratulations to all who shot the match.
