From the 25 metres.
A great month has been had by the ISSF Section.
The working bee worked very well – every one who turned up stayed and helped with the exception of one member who just stayed around and watched!
Most of our work was completed on the day thanks to Michael's organizational skills.
The Air Range was hired to the Junior Air Rifle Development Squad last weekend – this is the National Squad with one shooter heading for the Youth Olympics later this year.
Hugh and Michael are kept pretty busy on Sunday mornings with new and beginner shooters filling Range 3 – we also have newer shooters joining in on Range 2 to get 'competition' experience.
It is so important that the new shooters get the correct ISSF commands from the beginning – there has been too much confusion in the past – this has now been corrected with Hugh running the Range for them.
We have received a Grant from the Canterbury Community Trust to buy another 2 Air Pistols for our High School Junior program.
Cheryl and Michael are working with the Juniors on Wednesday evenings to get them ready for their next Competition.
