IPSC Section Report for May 2010 OverviewThere is not much new to report from the IPSC Ranges for the month of May.
Shooting has been continuing on both Wednesday nights and Sunday club days as the weather has permitted.
Wednesday night shooting will continue for the time being while there is enough interest. As we move into the winter and start to experience limited numbers of people showing up for the evening shooting, we may have to reassess its continuation over this period as its not fair on Gavin making the trip out to the range if no one is going to be there.
Mini-Match SetupWe are still in need of helpers to setup the monthly mini-matches. If you are interested in helping or just would like to see what happens, feel free to pop out after 1pm on the Saturday prior to a mini-match, or talk to me.
Next mini-match setup will be Saturday 19th June @ 1pm.
May 2010 Mini-MatchThe May mini-match was called off due to the poor weather conditions that we have been experiencing.
The continuous rain that we had leading up to the weekends match made it impossible to set up the ranges for the match. Another contributing factor was that several parts of the ranges where under water and several members where not keen to breakout the wetsuits for the weekend.

Wednesday 17th November to Saturday 20th November 2010 - Pistol NZ Practical (IPSC) 2010 National Championships
To be hosted by the Rotorua Pistol Club.

Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th March 2011 - Pistol NZ Practical (IPSC) 2011 South Island Championships
To be hosted by the Otago Pistol Club (Dunedin)
