Pistol NZ Practical (IPSC) - 3 Gun Nationals for 2012

The Pistol NZ Practical (IPSC) - 3 Gun Nationals for 2012 has been confirmed for Friday 30th March through to Sunday 1st April in Motunau - Host club is the Christchurch Pistol Club.

600 Rounds # 200 - Pistol, 200 - Rifle, 200 Shotgun

Divisions: Open, Standard, Tactical, Heavy Metal

Entry Fee: $140 Cheques to be made out to Christchurch Pistol Club or payment through internet banking account: 38-9007-0511330-00  Ref: Your Name

(Lunch is included in the entry fee for all three day's)

Hosted by the Christchurch Pistol Club - Motunau Ranges (Greta Valley)

For all that have entered this year's Pistol New Zealand, 3 Gun National Championships.

Please find below some important information regarding the match.

Directions for the Motunau Ranges are as follows:

The satellite range is on a private farm at Motunau, about 85km north of Christchurch. There will be IPSC Targets as sign
posts from the Greta Valley School turn off to follow.

To get there take the Main North Road from Christchurch. Turn right at Greta Valley School. Drive towards Motunau.  Just before Motunau turn left down Happy Valley Road. Drive down this road for 8km (it turns to gravel) and you will see a gate on the right opposite a woolshed with a red flag next to it.

Drive through the gate and follow the tire tracks across the paddocks towards the coast. At the end of the track across the paddocks, the clubhouse is on the left and Ranges 1-4 are on the right.

Shooting will be held over three day's.

•   Friday 30th March    - Pistol
•   Saturday 31st March   - Shotgun
•   Sunday 1st April      - Rifle

The breakdown of the match is as follows:

Pistol - 9 Stages     192 Rounds

Shotgun   - 10 Stages     8 Slugs  24 Buck Shot  130 Bird Shot

Rifle - 8 Stages  186 Rounds
      

•   Points for the match are evenly split over the three disciplines.

•   Range Briefings will be 0800hrs each day at the clubhouse.

•   Shooting to start at 0830hrs each day.

•   Lunch will be provided each day.
