Hi all,

Here is some more information regarding the shotgun match.

Guns are no problem, bring your own or Peter will have spares there.

The Shotguns really need to be sporting type semis or similar, AK47 type Shotguns are not practical when used for clay targets.

Ammo is available ($9.50/25), but you can bring your own, shot size 7-8-9's, 28grm only.

A round of skeet consists of 25 targets - Cost is $6.50/25

Trap is shot in lots of 10 targets - Cost is $2.50/10

These costs include all range fees etc.

A BBQ is there and available, so you can bring your own food if you want.

Directions:

Range is off the Christchurch Akaroa Highway at Motukarara, 20 mins max from Halswell turn off.

Take the highway until Duckpond Road at racecourse, go past the racecourse, over the one lane bridge and then turn left into the club. Then go thru the gate in the hedge.
