Hi guys. Do you want to shoot steel targets at high speed? Then get your entries in for the South Island Champs at Ashburton 8 August. Entries on the Pistol NZ website. As well as being a lot of fun, you will learn how to shoot fast and accurately. There are no Cs or Ds, just fast hits and fast misses....

Howdy  Ya'll
for the cowboy  pistol cal  rifle  i'd say a low port arms   IE  below the berm ,rifle  butt  at hip level   ..

good  question  tho   as long as all within the same cat/class    shoot from the same  starting and to the same  standing orders   thats  the big thing    ..

Rifle at hip level, pointed below berm sounds good. Can't use the port arms start for safety reasons.

Howdy
just one thing that crossed my mind is .22  if useing low speed ammo will  the timers pick up the last shot ??   have had probs in CAS  with rifle loads  sometimes  so tend to end stages with pistol or shotgun   may just be  something for the timer/RO's  becarefull   the make sure they can get the last shot  recorded

If you require a Club Glock or Club Ammo for the Speed Steel in Ashburton on either Saturday 7th or Sunday 8th August, please let Gavin or myself know.

If we are not notified, no club guns or ammo will be taken to Ashburton.

Cheers
